Win/Win not Scam/Scam Enigin PLC set the Standard
I hope you will forgive me for slipping in a quick blog in between our Teamwork Rules, but somethings just come up. During my coffee break here at Enigin PLC I’ve been reading Stephen R. Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, and it something worth sharing. The power of synergy, not that we should get bogged down with word play, but here is a concept that should be useful to you, our distributors.
In the scale of communication, trust is the vital element. In a business arrangement where the trust level is low or none, it usually means a win/loose scenario, even if you make a sale, you win they loose, not so good. Maybe they fear a scam of some kind. But where trust is developed compromise can exist and then you can have mutual respect between both parties. But better still is synergistic relationship which could be described as win/win, more than just a compromise. Where a comprise could be described as 1+1 = 1 and 1/2 synergy means 1+1= 2 or more.
Find that third alternative.
There is no rule that says you can have only one alternative, so be creative in your thinking and aim to please your client, value your differences and see how they can be useful to you. We enjoy a real synergy with our distributors and feel the sum of the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. This means being flexible as far as possible. There is no fear of an Enigin scam because we’ve built and earned that trust and that means win/win.
